Ett imploderat fribord för utvecklingen framåt

När det blir fel måste man tänka positivt. Felaktigheter är utvecklande och ger kunskap.

I slutade av januari gjordes en noggrann inspektion av skrovet. Det visade sig att friborden i förskeppet hade sjunkit in alldeles för djupt.

Diskussionen kretsade kring att justera med olika metoder. Men jag beslutade att vi inte skulle jobba vidare med det laminerade skrovet. Det skulle inte bli bra och det skulle bli dyrare.

Vi kommer nu istället att 3D-printa ett nytt skrov. Detta ska skrivas ut i fem delar och där varje del förser med ett färdigt skott.

Denna vecka 3D-utskrivs delarna i mindre skala för att kontrollera att en ny sammanfogningsteknik fungerar som planerat.

Midjourney for stills, Runway for video. Still figuring out where the ceiling is.

Running everything solo means I have to be disciplined about what I take on — but it also means clients get one person who owns the whole thing from brief to delivery.
